Iskander Akylbayev
From 2017 to 2021, he was the Executive Director of the Kazakhstan Council on International Relations (KCIR). Previously, he was an analyst at JSC RTRK "Kazakhstan" (2017-2019) and Acting Head and Senior Researcher at the Department of Foreign Policy and International Security at the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies (KISI) under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2014-2017).

From 2017 to 2018, he was a senior lecturer at the Institute of Diplomacy of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Iskander is a recipient of the Asia 21 Fellowship Program of the Asia Society, the Millennium Fellowship Program of the Atlantic Council.

Member of the working group of the Academy of Arms Control Negotiations (ACONA) at Harvard University, MGIMO, the Higher School of Economics of Russia and the Wilson Center, the Frankfurt Institute for Peace Research and the Höfði Reykjavík Peace Centre.

Since 2022, Iskander has been a participant in the international program of the Hoover Institution at Stanford University.

Bekzhan Mutanov
Bekzhan Mutanov is a seasoned leader in the fintech and blockchain space, boasting a rich background dating back to 2016. Overseed the dynamic development of the fintech, blockchain, corporate innovation and venture capital ecosystem in the Tech Hub of the Astana International Financial Centre Astana.

Bekzhan played a pivotal role in shaping investment and technological projects in Kazakhstan. His proficiency in strategic consulting, company structuring, and business development within the IT and fintech sectors underscores his comprehensive skill set.

Nowadays serves as Chief Fintech Officer at Freedom Horizons Ltd. and represents Global Blockchain Business Council as Ambassador for Kazakhstan.

Alim Abdrakhman
Alim Abdrakhman is an experienced real estate and construction professional with a strong background in managing and expanding retail portfolios across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Currently serving as the EMEA Real Estate Portfolio Manager at Nike in the Netherlands, Alim oversees diverse markets in these regions.

Previously, Alim spent 6.5 years at H&M, starting as a Construction Project Manager in Russia and playing a pivotal role in H&M's market entry into Kazakhstan. He later worked in Denmark on various projects and then moved to H&M's Head Office in Stockholm as a Commercial Advisor for the Omni-channel portfolio department, managing regions including the UK, Ireland, Nordic countries, Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan.

Before joining H&M, Alim worked for 2.5 years at Koton as a Leasing Manager in both Istanbul and Almaty.

Alim is skilled in business process optimization, automation, and negotiation, successfully closing multi-million dollar deals.

Ramazan Slamkhanov
Ramazan Slamkhanov has extensive experience in international relations and trade. He graduated from KIMEP in 2015 and began his career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Over eight years of working at the MFA, including the Department of Americas and the UN Security Council Administration, he was actively involved in promoting Kazakhstan as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for 2017-2018 and was responsible for bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and the United States.

In 2024, Ramazan was appointed as the QazTrade representative in the United States, where he focuses on developing bilateral trade and promoting Kazakhstani business in the American market. In addition, he serves as the Business Development Director for the Kazakhstan Cultural Business Association of North America. In this role, he organized a successful business mission for Kazakhstani entrepreneurs to New York, Washington, and San Francisco, including the first US-Kazakhstan business forum at the World Bank headquarters, where promising projects for future economic cooperation were presented.
